One of the differences of opinion I have with the general consensus on gentle parenting is that you’ll never really be good at it. You should keep trying, and keep repairing, but you won’t ever really be good at it.

I don’t think we should hold ourselves to unrealistic standards, but I do think that when you take a lens of efficiency to becoming the parent you want to be you start to question some of these false assumptions and start getting results.
